Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Majidi completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Seneca Falls, NY at the Northeast College of Health Sciences. This is where he developed a love and passion for helping others by guiding patients back to the best versions of themselves. Through clinical rotations in geriatrics, mental health, family and sports specialties, Dr. Majidi was able to develop a variety of different skills that could allow him to best adhere to his patients needs. He continuously looks for ways to stay involved with the community and proudly took on the role as student body president of his graduate school. As a former competitive soccer player, he still has a love for sports as well as a passion for traveling the world. How many people do you know who could speak four different languages fluently? Well, Dr. Majidi could check that box for you because he is fluent in English, Farsi, Hindi and French! As a newcomer of the Las Vegas community and a food addict, he would love to hear your recommendations for the tastiest restaurants in the valley.

Dr. Mathias Backus

Dr. Mathias Backus hails from the northern Finger Lakes region of New York State where he enjoyed spending time on the lakes, camping and fishing with his family. He graduated Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and minor in Mathematics. His love for helping and educating people started with his mother, who was a high school teacher of 40 plus years. His interest in the human body started as a child, as he suffered from migraine headaches for much of his youth. His close family members have also had various musculoskeletal health concerns, which helped solidify his chosen career path in the chiropractic field. Dr. Backus graduated from Northeast College of Health Sciences, formerly NYCC, as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Backus flourished in the clinic setting where he was able to connect and form lasting bonds with his patients. His goal as a chiropractor is to help patients achieve a pain-free and healthy lifestyle, while actively educating patients on their body. During his free time, Dr. Backus enjoys weight lifting, spending time in nature, traveling, and cooking.
